What’s the Big Idea?
Check out "Big Think" and leave the site feeling psychologically refreshed. In their own words, “Big Think is a global forum connecting people and ideas.” The site is video based, and composed of interesting people addressing topics in their particular area of expertise.
What makes Big Think so addicting is its uncanny ability to provide content that you wanted to know more about – you just never set your mind to actually researching the idea. Questions are addresses such as ‘why are people so bad at saving?’ or 'why can’t I work at work?”. Recent provocative titles include “Purging Apple”, “Burton’s Demons", and “The Invisible Hook: The Hidden Economics of Pirates”.
The site feels as though its inspired by the TED videos, yet Big Think has a decidedly welcoming and inclusive feel. Check out the Big Think site for more.
